If you grab the access point with two hands, imagine a clock, with your hands at the 9-3 position, you can then twist the access point off of the mounting plate, this may be either clockwise or anticlockwise depending on mounting orientation.
You will be able to find the MAC address on the label on the backside of the access point as pictured below:
